British Royal Family News suggests that the monarchy might be doing a better job at protecting Kate Middleton and Prince Andrew from the press than Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. Could that be true? Read on for all you need to know!
According to the PR Agency Bank, there were over 246,525 articles written about Meghan Markle between May of 2019 and April 2020. In comparison, there were 96,460 articles written about her sister-in-law Kate Middleton and only 72,125 about Prince Andrew. This is raising a lot of eyebrows from royal critics, who believe that the royal family might be looking to protect Prince Andrew from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal and all of the allegations that have been made against him, seeing how the British tabloid media seems to be targeting Meghan more than Queen Elizabeth’s favorite son.

Royal expert and commentator Richard Fitzwilliams says that when it comes to the royals, their press office only comment on what they deem to be the more serious articles and allegations. Just recently the royal family did make an official statement against the Tatler magazine profile that seemed to paint a not so bright light on Kate Middleton, claiming that she is feeling stressed with all of the work that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle apparently left behind after Megxit.
“The royals and particularly senior members of the British royal family are the subject of enormous attention, both domestic and global,” Fitzwilliams told Insider. Royal press offices therefore do have a ‘no comment’ rule, on all but the most serious occasions and with good reason. They did speak out against the loathsomely cynical portrayal of Kate in Tatler, but this is rare.”
While no one knows what really went on behind palace doors while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were still full-time working members of the British Royal Family, they made it pretty clear that they weren’t interested in playing by the royal rules anymore, and that’s why they packed their bags and left their life behind in London for a new one in Los Angeles.
