ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that star Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) says that at first, she had a very hard time accepting Cynthia Watros as the new Nina Reeves on the soap. But there’s a good reason for it. Here’s what she has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the blonde beauty said that at first, she had a very hard time accepting the fact that Cynthia Watros would be replacing Michelle Stafford as the new Nina Reeves on the hit show. But she didn’t want to accept Cynthia because she had something personal against her. Instead, it’s because she knew she would miss her former co-star Michelle Stafford so much!

Just take note of the fact that the necklace is indeed STILL ON THE WALL if you are not interested in the Crochet Along posts and disregard the rest of this caption. Now about this bag that I’m obsessing over… I took this pic the other day when I finished the “Sundance Crossbody Clutch” (by @wildflowercrochetco) using @lionbrandyarn Wool-Ease Thick & Quick. @emmerylan and I recommended this as a yarn substitution, so I thought some of you Crochet Along peeps might like to see what it looks like! (Don’t worry, I will be making another one – with the same yarn in a different color – for the CAL.) Because the yarn is obviously thicker than what the pattern calls for, the purse comes out larger…which I was extremely excited about. If you choose to make this pattern in Thick & Quick, or any yarn that frays easily at the end, be sure to make small knots at the end of each tassel/fringe strand. @lionbrandyarn Hometown USA is also great for this project. Oh, and I used the crochet hook size that the yarn calls for on the packaging – I believe it’s a 10mm 🙆🏼♀️ Can’t wait to make another one!! @emmerylan #KickingItWithEmmeAndKirsten #crochetersofinstagram #SundanceCrossbodyClutch
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Kirsten Storms Admits To Having A Hard Time Accepting Cynthia Watros
Kirsten told the publication, “I was the same way when Julie Marie Berman left and they hired Emme Rylan (Lulu Falconeri Spencer) to replace her. I don’t know why I put that on myself because I’m not that person. Like, I don’t go crazy bitch until you give me a reason to be that person! But Michelle and I became insanely close to each other. I still talk to her regularly. When she said she was leaving, I sobbed because I work with Nina so much and not having her there just felt like heartbreak for me.”
Thankfully though, Kristen quickly realized that working with Cynthia Watros turned out to be incredibly beneficial not just for the character, but the entire soap. She said, “Then one of the first says Cynthia was working, she was in a scene with Ingo Rademacher (Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks) and I watched her on the monitor and my jaw dropped. She’s so good! And she’s the sweetest person and so caring! I didn’t want to like her, and now I love her!”
