ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that while anything can happen in a town like Port Charles, make ups, break ups, and hook ups are definitely the norm. But because of the new coronavirus filming guidelines, there might possibly be a new couple hooking up more than you’d expect in the coming weeks: Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). And that’s because there’s a very good reason behind it, too. Here’s what you need to know.
As many daytime television fans already know, the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus has not only changed the way we live, but also changed the way that we work, too.
With new social distancing guidelines in place, this means that actors must stay at least six feet away from each other. In order to keep the passion alive in the soap world, The Bold and the Beautiful executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell has the actors’ significant others assisting as stand ins in order to do all of those important ‘kissing’ scenes in order to keep everyone safe and healthy as much as possible.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Are Carly Corinthos And Peter August Hooking Up?
Of course, this has prompted ‘General Hospital’ fans to wonder if the same will be applied in Port Charles, too. Seeing how Laura Wright and Wes Ramsey are already partners in real life, it would definitely make sense to have their characters hook up in front of the cameras as they are perhaps the only two that can physically ‘touch’ one another.
Needless to say, this storyline would definitely change Carly’s marriage with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but there’s no denying that a hot new romance between two ridiculously good looking people who already have plenty of chemistry would definitely work, right? What are your thoughts?
