TLC 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days spoilers got the surprise of Big Ed Brown and his life when he said that he wanted to take a shower. He thought that they would have your standard American bathroom complete with all the fixins available to him in the Phillipines. He was under the impression that this little building that is held together by CD covers, had standard plumbing. Are you giggling yet, because I am. So that’s when Rosemarie Vega said that she would like a shower too, and I’m sure that Ed thought that it would be sexy shower time and get some good ol’ soapy action on the sly from the fam or at least get to see Rose in the altogether.
Then Rose announced that her Dad wanted to take a shower as well! Ed had this look on his face, and you could tell he was wondering how that would work, he was wondering if they were going to take turns or what and Rose said, “No, we’ll all go in there together.” That’s about the time I cracked up laughing. Ed was given a bucket and a bar of soap and basically told to go to town and do his thing. The temperature of the water was not to his liking though because when he rinsed his hair he did a full body shudder.

Rose’s Dad wasn’t the only guest in the shower! Apparently Rose and her family have a few pet chickens that like to keep a close eye on things. Ed also mentioned rabbits and bunnies but they didn’t seem to be in the shower with them so I guess that’s a win for Ed, who seemed to be about ready to run from Rose’s house screaming. I guess the last straw came for Ed when he turned around and saw the biggest, most giantic, spotted rat staring at him like it had just found the most prized wheel of cheese. I think the spots scared me more than the actual creature itself, that and how it was eyeing Ed. Yike!!!
Rose says they’re a close family, and that this really isn’t considered a boundary issue with them. Considering how most of the house they live in doesn’t have walls, I could see where they’re just completely content with one another. Honestly, yeah, it does seem a little strange, but this is coming from someone who was born and raised in the US, in the phillipines, clearly the culture is very different. Either way, it looks like Ed has had enough of cultural differences and will be staying in a hotel for the rest of his time there, can’t say I actually blame him, I mean… unless I”m in an animated musical I wouldn’t want to be sharing bathtime with a rat either.
