TLC 90 Day FiancĂ©: Before the 90 Days finds that the excitement of last week’s episode of the show seemed to come from the break up of Tom Brooks and Darcey Silva. These two haven’t seen eye to eye on many things. These two met up for coffee to talk and it turned sour real quick. This is one coffee date we would love to have watched from the cafe! Tom has spoken out about the break up and he says that poor editing is to blame for all of it. We have the story on what he said to back up his claim.
TLC 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days: Did They Try to Work It Out?
When Tom asked Darcey to meet him, he had the idea in his head that they would talk and patch it all up. The talk turned ugly quick though. Tom said to Darcey, “You were so preoccupied with other things. It was really hard for me to listen to the Jesse thing all the time.Your idea and notion of love is not me. You had it with him. But I love you in a different way. I love you like my sister.” They were not being clear with one another and Darcey had to ask him about the mystery woman in his Instagram photos. These two just kept going at it and when things got really heated, Tom snapped and said, “Did you put weight on?” Darcey kept it together very well during this whole thing and for that, we are very proud of her.
TLC 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days: Tom Blames it All on Editing
Tom has made it clear that he has tried to apologize to Darcey. He said that she had called him fat before and many of his fans thought that was low to throw it back on her. In his apology he wrote, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. We all make mistakes, we all have said things that we wish we could take back, unfortunately we can’t. I acknowledge what I did was very inappropriate! I truly am sorry for what I said and take full responsibility for it. The edit is out of context but still if I hadn’t of said it couldn’t have been used.”
After Tom posted this on Instagram, he wrote about the editing claim. He posted, “The truth is they edited the hell out of the scene…it was one of the first things I said after the first 20 takes of her jacket falling off coming into the building to meet me…I was like come on get on with it… follower by the scene you saw “have you put on weight”, it’s out of context and chopped to create drama I can only again apologize to her and anyone offended by the scene.”
It was nice of him to apologize, but he did say it no matter what context it was in. You can watch 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days on TLC at 8 p.m.EST on Sundays.
