ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that Eden McCoy has a new role in Port Charles. The actress, who is known for her role as Josslyn Jacks, is set to play a younger version of her on-screen mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Here’s what you need to know.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in their latest issue, the blonde beauty told the publication, “I found out I was going to be playing Young Carly from Laura. I was on set, and she had finished up her scenes for the day and I went over to say hi and it was just like a one-sentence thing because she was running out, like, ‘Oh boy, by the way, I found out that you are going to be playing young me!’ That was pretty much the extent of the conversation, but obviously, it didn’t leave my head much until I got the script because I was so excited.”

The talented young actress added, “It was definitely something I had wanted to do and thought about doing, as my own personal fantasy, just because I think it’s a super cool idea, and growing up, popular shows I watched like Gossip Girl, did a similar thing, with the teenage cast playing the parents in a throwback episode or a scene in an episode. So it was really cool to have that experience, and to find out from her – no one better!”
While the actress did not divulge in any specifics as far as what fans can expect from the episode, it’s without a doubt that viewers will be tuning in to see what it’s all about. As much as we love present-day Carly, it’s always fun to see Carly from the past as well. Of course, fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
