NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate As we all know, the SS WilSon, our beloved male-male ship on the show, won’t be with us for much longer because both Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) have been written out of the show. They didn’t speculate on how or give any spoilers, but we here at DSD? That’s our job. We get to speculate all we like. So here we go, a list of the ways that this could possibly happen.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Death
Here’s an obvious one, one, or heaven forbid, both sides of our beloved ship die in some tragic accident. Now, since WIll is currently being pardoned because it was found recently that he did not kill Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) then it couldn’t happen inside the jailhouse. Unless some heretofore unknown inmate got pissed and stabbed Will, or maybe when Clyde Weston (James Read) got back an altercation happened between him and Will just before Will’s sentence was up and bam, Will gets out of prison zipped up in a bag and on a gurney. Clyde always did seem to have it in for Will and since he’s back in jail he’s probably all kinds of ornery so there’s that. But in actuality, Clyde has probably been moved back to solitary and is away from the general population – for now.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: SS WIlSon sinks – Now what?
That means that there could also be the whole jealous lover thing coming in to play. Will told Sonny that it was okay to move on without him and see other people, which, Sonny, being the dutiful, committed husband that he is, abided by. He’s been seen getting pretty cozy with Evan Frears (Brock Kelly). Now, since Will gave Sonny the green light here it would not be Will that would go into a blind, jealous rage. Sure, it would hurt to see Sonny moving on but ultimately he would understand because he’s the one that pulled the trigger. However, this is a new relationship for Evan and we really don’t know how he’ll react or what his history is, could he be the one to permanently pull the trigger on the S.S. Wilson? If he sensed that Sonny was about to dump him and go back to Will, then that just might happen. So far, Evan’s been the aggressor, if you will, not in a creepy way but he’s definitely been the one to pursue Sonny, not the other way around. If he felt threatened, there’s a chance he just might snap.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Moving on
There just comes a time in everyone’s life when there’s just nothing left to say to your ex anymore, or, maybe you and the person that you once loved have outgrown each other as people and just feel the need to move on. I don’t think that is the case with Will and Sonny, however, I could be wrong. Sonny could very well be deep in the throes of really falling for Evan and Will’s order to ‘move on’ could have been taken very deeply, and literally. It takes time to open up to someone new and Evan has been pursuing Sonny since a little before Thanksgiving. Sonny’s just now really opening up to the guy and they seem to be moving at a decent romantic clip so it could be that Sonny doesn’t want to mess his groove up for the husband that ultimately broke his heart. You can’t blame the guy for being shy about it.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Moving on, literally – happy ending?
Maybe Sonny could get a job offer in Paris and now since Will is out of prison they could move on together and just be happy outside of Salem, a brand new start? As for Evan… well, I’m sure he’ll find somebody. Dating apps exist for a reason. (It’s a soap opera, maybe dating apps in Salem do end up in true love, who knows?) There’s just one problem with that, from what we do know, Sonny and Will just get an abrupt ending. We don’t know if it’s happy or not, but just from the way it was talked about on Freddie Smith’s podcast it doesn’t look too promising, so this would only happen if this were a perfect world and the Days writing team didn’t want our hearts to ache.
NBC ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Quickie marriage + Leaving Salem?
What if Evan and Sonny decided to elope. Will lost the love of his life for good, and then, horror of all horrors, Sonny decided to take his new husband and move on to somwhere else outside of Salem. Like, maybe Paris, or perhaps wherever Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) family is originally from? (It’s hinted Greece but it could be anywhere remotely mediterranean) Then Will would be left in Salem all by himself, what if he couldn’t handle all the reminders of being where he was so happy with Sonny? If that happened, I predict that Will would make the move down south and move in with Susan Banks again. Or maybe he could go to Rome where Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) became nuns… honestly if the order will accept Kristen DiMera, then there is nothing saying that Will couldn’t join the priesthood. Seriously folks, think about it. This is just speculation on a few of the things that could happen to the SS Wilson in the upcoming months. Their last airdate is September 18th. Stay tuned!!!
