Coronation Street spoilers finds that it has been a pretty eventful couple of years for Leanne Battersby. She has had to overcome the return of her ex-husband Nick Platt and also his part in the factory collapse. She also stood by him as he stole money from his grandmother, but throughout she has been the voice of reason and has helped them grow closer again.
However, over the coming months, she will be set to have heartbreak of her own, as she discovers that something is wrong with her son Oliver. She will discover some alarming symptoms and immediately fear the world. But, could tragedy about to strike her young son?

It felt like all of Leanne’s Christmasses had come at once two years ago when she was finally able to get pregnant. She was only told a few years earlier that she would never be able to give birth to a child. However, the news wasn’t as warmly received by most, and it emerged that the father of the son was Steve McDonald. Steve was in a relationship with Michelle at the time and slept with Leanne on a one night stand. During that night, Steve got drunk as he was trying to come to terms with the miscarriage that Michelle had suffered. The secret wasn’t kept hidden for long; however, as Michelle soon found out.

Next week’s episode will be Oliver’s birthday party. However, he isn’t likely to be the life of the party, as he will sleep through the entire thing. With Daniel’s recent troubles with Bertie, Leanne becomes afraid that something worse could be wrong with her son. She is alarmed that he is sleeping so often, and fears that something more sinister could be in store for the young child. Fans will have to wait for a few weeks to discover whether anything is wrong with Oliver. But, there will be hope that it is nothing as Leanne has already suffered through enough.
