Camila Banus, who plays Gabi DiMera on the hit soap, shared a clip of her blasting TMZ and many other media outlets for reporting “fake news.” Kristian Alfonso, who plays Hope Brady and Princess Gina, thanked her fans for the outpouring of support the cast has received, despite all of the confusion.

Linsey Godfrey, who plays Sarah Horton, meanwhile, decided to poke fun at the situation. She tweeted, “I sneezed so hard my back cracked. Is this…. Is this the end?” Victoria Konefal, who plays Ciara Brady, also hit back at all the fall reports while Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston) decided to ignore the rumors altogether and share a photo of the cast celebrating the soap’s 54th anniversary while also calling the series “a legacy.”
And while no one knows what is in store for ‘Days of Our Lives’ and the future of the show, there’s hope that it won’t be canceled.
