‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find Ava Jerome (Maura West) reeling from bad news, Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) takes things too far, and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) in for some trouble. There’s also a bit of a disagreement over how Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is handling the Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) situation, and Julian Jerome (William deVry) has some advice. If you missed it, let’s catch up on some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: All for Ava
As we figured, Ryan Chamberlain takes out Bryce Henderson (Brian Gross) after his vulgar comments about Ava. He is actually somewhat amusing as he casually calls for the guard and says, “Something terrible has happened.”
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) is assigned to figure out what exactly happened. Ryan’s suicide story doesn’t fly with him at all, and he takes Ryan’s pen as evidence. As they talk, Ryan makes a couple of comments about his former roomie that tell Chase what he needs to know. To confirm, he goes on about the picture of Ava and how any guy would do the same. As he’d expected, this makes Ryan fly into a rage and a couple of officers restrain him. Chase confiscates the picture of Ava, but Ryan says he can get back issues of Crimson. Chase hopes they don’t get lost in the mail.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Get help
Laura Webber (Genie Francis) and Ava continue their talk from the last episode. Ava is in a really bad place, and Laura’s worried about her. Laura knows what it’s like to lose a child and warns Ava that this kind of grief can destroy one if they don’t get a handle on it. She promises it’s possible, though, if Ava gets help, to learn to live with her pain.
Laura is worried enough to call Julian, especially after learning Ryan killed his cellmate. She thinks that Ava shouldn’t be alone right now.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Brotherly love
Julian, of course comes running to the rescue. Ava is in a panic over the latest. She thinks Ryan clearly killed the guy, and that he will just keep killing a path right out of jail—and directly to her.
A little later, she is warned not to go back to Pentonville period following Chase’s discovery. Ava is devastated to learn she was right about Ryan killing the guy, and that it had something to do with her.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Hopes dashed
Ava’s not the only one devastated by this death. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are talking about Sam’s case and what Jason has learned about Bryce. They’re convinced that his testimony will turn the tide and get the Feds off of Sam’s back. Jason adds that they believe Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is the one behind it.
When a transfer to Pentonville begins, Jason and Alexis try to use this information to stop it, but it’s no use. They learn that the witness is now dead and there is nothing that can be done to stop the transfer. Jason and Alexis are hopeful that Bryce told his lawyer something prior to his death.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Dawnie alert
At Pentonville, a guard leads Sam to a cell. She tells her all about Sam’s roomie, who is currently in solitary. Sam wants to know what she did. Apparently, the woman’s last roomie had an unfortunate attack. The guard them talks about the day bringing a new dawn, and it’s clear that Shiloh’s (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) influence still lives.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: How could you?
Elsewhere, Sonny and Carly Corinthos (Maurice Bernard and Laura Wright) haven’t heard the latest about the wedding that wasn’t. Michael ends up filling them in on what happened, and Carly is shocked to learn that Michael is standing by Sasha. She’d lied and been exposed at the wedding. Michael explains that she’d told him weeks ago, but kept quiet on his insistence. Sonny agrees with Michael’s reasoning about the Casandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) case, but he warns Michael to be careful.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Free advice
Julian is not happy to learn that Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) is seeing Alexis’ former therapist/current boyfriend. He especially doesn’t like that Brad is planning for Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) to attend sessions, too. He advises Brad this is a bad idea, and that he should get a new therapist. Brad claims he knows what he’s doing. Right. Because he’s been handling things so well up until now.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Scam undone?
Later, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is still confused as to how Sasha was able to fake several DNA tests. This leads to a GH visit and some questions for Brad. He’s clearly agitated, which he claims is due to the questioning of his lab’s integrity. He’s not that person anymore. Brad believes this is a demon that can be dealt with in therapy.
As for the DNA thing, Curtis wants the original samples that were used in Sasha’s test. This can confirm she’s not Nina Reeve’s (Cynthia Watross) daughter, and maybe provide other clues.
