El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers for Friday, September 13th have Aristóteles Córcega (Emilio Osorio) taking his next step, Ubaldo Ortega (Sergio Sendel) being exposed, and the Cervantes family saying a formal goodbye to Andrés (Bruno Santamaría). We also have a surprise guest. If you missed it, lets get to the El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca recap.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Exposed
Everyone is planning Ubaldo’s downfall, but it’s Francisco “Pancho” López (Arath de la Torre) that really manages to save the day. While everyone else is in another room getting threatened by one of Ubaldo’s goons, Ubaldo is being confronted by Pancho, Soledad Elizalde (Laura Flores), and Diego Ortega (Nikolás Caballero). He is ashamed of his former friend and what he’s become.
The accusations are flying, and Ubaldo eventually admits to being responsible for what happened to Andrés. What he doesn’t know is, Pancho has been wearing a mic the whole time, and all the guests attending the Polita Foundation event are hearing every single word.
With no way out, Ubaldo decides to take off. Meanwhile, the rest are still being threatened by the goon when he’s knocked out from behind.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Facing his family
Obviously, Ubaldo loses everything after his misdeeds are exposed, including his family. They also confront him privately at his home and Dora Ortega (Helena Rojo) takes the time to make sure he knows that she has found her son, Collins (Marco Zunino), before they tell him he’s now alone.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Ending it all
Ubaldo doesn’t take all these hits well. After his family leaves and someone we presume was watching him leave the room, he pulls out a box from a drawer. Inside is a gun, which he puts to his head. We’re not sure how much more was shown, or what aftermath might have played out, as this episode was horribly cut. We’ll get to this issue in another article, but for now, suffice it to saw it looks like the bad guy is now gone.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: A new beginning
Another victim of the cuts from Hell appears to be Nora Ortega (Nuria Bages) and her story of forbidden love. We know from previous episodes that someone named “B” was once very special, and Dora had recently interfered with Nora meeting “B” again. In this episode, we learn that “B” is a woman. Based on the scene where Nora is watching a show and puts her head on “B’s” shoulder, we assume that at some point in this cut material she managed to make contact with her and rekindled their love.
Later in the episode, we see that Nora is still living outside the family building and has no plans to return. She’s ready for this new adventure, but she and Dora have reconciled. They sit on a couch, bonding over a new novela coming on (La Usupadora—The Usurper) and promise to watch it together.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Saying Goodbye
Now that Ubaldo has been exposed as the corrupto he is, the Cervantes family can finally be at peace. They gather at the spot where Andrés died to plant a new tree in his honor. As they do, they put some of his ashes in with the dirt. They say goodbye to him, and it’s a healing moment for them all, as the family had been destroyed by Andrés’ suicide. Olegario Cervantes (Víctor González) takes the opportunity to seal their renewed family bond by asking Elsa Reynoso (Leticia Calderón) to marry him again. She accepts, and the family is going to live happily together.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: The letter
Another family coming together over loss today is los Córcega. It seems that Amapola “Polita” Casteñeda (Gabriela Platas) had written a letter to Aris expressing her hopes and fears as he prepared to leave home to take on Mexico City. She just never gave it to him, as she, of course, ultimately decided to move there as well to be near her son.
When Pancho had first told him about the letter, Aris had been emotional and couldn’t bring himself to look at it. It was only after a little bit of time that he was able to do so. He included a lot of the characters we’ve come to know, as well as a couple of familiar faces from Mi Marido Tiene Más Family (My Husband Has More Family).
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: Special guests
Daniela Córcega and Doña Imelda Sierra de Córcega (Silvia Pinal) travel to Mexico City for the letter reading. Doña Imelda is the Córcega matriarch, and Aris’ grandmother. Daniela is his aunt. They both offer their support to Aris as he reads the letter and promise to be there for him. Doña Imelda, in particular, is excited for when #ArisTemo get married, so she can take part in the ceremony. She gives a nice speech about family and the milestones she wants to be there for. We see a flashback to Mi Marido where Aris caught her bouquet when she finally remarried after many years alone.
We also had a brief sequence today where Aris and Arquis got to see their mom, but with the cuts it was hard to tell the context. It was a sweet moment, though, and we’re sure that it will help those characters to move on.
El Corazón Nunca Se Equivoca spoilers: The big show
Finally, Aris takes a huge step today as he takes the stage for the concert Tiago (Sian Chiong) invited him to open. He’s terrified, but with Cuauhtémoc “Temo” López’s (Joaquín Bondoni) support, he gets onstage. He dedicates the performace to Temo, as well as his mother. The performance is a huge success, and leads to a nice moment for another character.
Tiago took advantage of the moment to once more ask Carlota Cervantes (Ale Müller) if she will be able to accept being his novia, and she says yes. Tiago is so excited, but pulls her onstage to announce it to everyone.
As novelas tend to do, all the good guys have now gotten their happy ending, while the bad guys get what they deserve. We’re hoping that if another season happens, Univision will treat it a bit better, but we’re not counting on it.
