‘Days of Our Live’ (DOOL) spoilers indicate that there is good news and bad news regarding our two patients, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is anxious, and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is clueless. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) also plays hero. If you missed it, let’s get to your ‘Days of Our Lives’ recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Impatient
Kristen is anxious to get on with her big day. Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) has just finished an exam of Kristen and declares her to be in excellent health. He sees no problem with her carrying the baby she wants to steal to term. She wants to get to the facility right away, but Rolf urges patience. He thinks the closer they arrive to the procedure happening, the better. Plus, he has to pick up a tool still.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Good news
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) makes the hard decision to donate Kate DiMera’s (Lauren Koslow) heart, now that they’ve learned that she is a match for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes). This comes after he and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) discuss the situation and get Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) professional opinion. She honestly doesn’t see Kate surviving.
This is obviously a mixed bag for all involved, but now that things are a go, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and the rest of the clan are surely thankful that Julie has some hope, at least. They might want to hold that thought.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Bad news
In more mixed bag news, it seems a certain eccentric doctor noticed Kate’s name on a door while picking up the instrument he needed for the Kristen DiMera/Sarah Horton embryo switch. He obviously worked some of his mad scientist magic, because when Kayla is about to wheel Kate into surgery, she wakes up. Damn. We can just picture the looks on certain people’s faces when they learn this. Especially Doug, if he has already been told Julie was getting a heart. That is sure to sting, even if they’ll be happy that Kate lived.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Second thoughts?
At the abortion clinic, Sarah is nervous and visibly upset. Her run-in with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) did nothing to help her outlook on an already hard day. She expresses some regret about how Eric would be a great father and always wanted a kid, but he will be a father to Holly. Xander wonders if this all means she’s having second thoughts.
He once more encourages her to make the choice she feels is the best for her without taking anyone else into account. She apparently chooses to stick to her guns. She gets put under for the abortion with Xander standing nearby.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Surprise!
Keeping his word, Xander is ready to help facilitate this transfer. That means delaying the procedure, as Kristen is still waiting on Dr. Rolf. He ends up knocking out the doctor, which we wonder how he’s going to explain this later.
Kristen arrives before Dr. Rolf and assures a knocked-out Sarah that she is going to love her child as her own and be the best mother. Xander’s worried. That doctor, and Sarah, will only stay asleep so long.
Dr. Rolf eventually makes his entrance, but he informs Kristen he can’t do the procedure. Kristen is furious and points out he already agreed. If he couldn’t find what he needed, she wants him to improvise. Dr. Rolf explains that’s not it. He can’t implant Sarah’s fetus into Kristen, because Kristen is already carrying one of her own.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Jack to the rescue
Finally, Henry Shah (Piter Marek) orders Jack to come to Ted Laurent’s (Gilles Marini) old place. Alone. When Jack gets there, Shah says that he only wants Jack there, because he’s going to kill Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) after all. He just wants her to look into Jack’s eyes before she dies and know not a trace of recognition for her is in them. Dang. He’s got more rage than it seemed before.
This makes Jennifer go off on some speech about the greatness of Jack and how much he taught her. Henry is annoyed as we are. He decides that’s enough and is ready to do the deed, but Jack attacks him. In the struggle, both men suffer hits.
Shah is on the ground, as Jack has gotten a hit to the head. This does, however, have a good side. For them, anyway: Jack has a series of flashbacks that we don’t envy the editing team over. That was a lot of clips, and very fast. Someone was slaving in the archives for a loooong time. Jack tells Jennifer he remembers her.
