‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is finding that redemption ain’t easy, while Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) thinks karma’s come for her, and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) announcement is causing a lot of drama all around. Also, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) might just be willing to do anything to keep his past quiet. If you missed it, let’s get to today’s ‘General Hospital’ recap.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Game time drama
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is feeling the good energy right now as they prepare for a picnic after Danny Morgan’s (Porter Fasullo) game. She’s enjoying a moment of peace, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) isn’t exactly letting his guard down. This might turn out to be a good thing.
Later on, after Jason stepped away a bit, Sam reveals that she got an email from Drew Cain (Billy Miller). It seems he’s going to get Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) on his way to Afghanistan. He’s not sure about this. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) didn’t seem interested in his old life. Nor does he think that Maddox can actually pull this off.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Guilty conscience
Sasha gets a visit from Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) today. After talking about where they might go after she’s out of here and his fear of Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy)—we totally feel him on that. She’s not to be messed with—things get serious. She suggests that perhaps this illness is her punishment for what she’s done. Michael doesn’t understand, and points out that lots of horrible people reap great rewards while good people get the short end of the stick. This doesn’t seem to help her out, and we’re waiting for a full confession any moment.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Mystery illness solved?
Speaking of Sasha’s condition, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is on the case still. He’s ordered a ton of specific tests, hoping to finally figure out what’s ailing Sasha. Apparently, it’s nothing he expected.
While we don’t actually get to learn what those tests say, he has a very strong “how is this possible?” reaction to what he sees.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: No redemption
Also feeling the guilt today is Ava. She’s just not going to get any relief any time soon. As she sleeps, she visits with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Kiki accuses Ava of making her death all about Ava, then suggests that Ava is happy that she’s gone. After all, she’s the one who would really call her out on being a bad person.
Ava swears that’s not the case and practically begs Kiki to forgive her. Just tell her what she wants her to do, and Ava will do it. When Kiki isn’t responsive to this, Ava begs to know why she won’t help her. Kiki replies that it should be obvious why she can’t—she’s dead. Ava then wakes up from her nightmare to more love notes on her Crimson article.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: On the same page
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) decides to drop by Jasper Jacks’ (Ian Rademacher) room at the hotel to see how the home search is going. She says Joss would really like it if he had at least semi-permanent roots in Port Charles. She would, too. The conversation soon turns to Joss’ desire to leave school, to which Jax is actually open. He thinks if she wants a breather, he can take her on a trip. It’ll be educational. Carly isn’t having it and insists that Joss has to deal with going back to school. If she doesn’t, they’re teaching her to run from her problems. She asks Jax to support her on this, and he agrees.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Not happening
Also not taking kindly to Joss’ idea of leaving school is Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla). She says that neither she, nor Cameron Webber (William Lipton) can do this when they’re finally Upperclassmen. They’re only a year away from owning the school, too. This, plus some joking around eventually gets Joss to say she’ll stick it out.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Whatever it takes
Peter is interviewed by Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) almost right after he gets a pressure-filled phone call from Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Robert wants to know what Peter was doing visiting Shiloh in jail, but Peter insists it was Invader-related.
While they talk, Finn comes across them and offers greetings from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) before breaking the news that they’re going to try bringing Maddox back to town to cure Franco.
Apparently, this doesn’t sit well with Peter, because after they leave, he places a call to someone to say that this trip can’t happen. Whatever means necessary.
