Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had been one of ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers’ favorites since we first saw her, and she’s remained one of the most balanced characters in the show.
But now she’s channeling Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and putting her foot down, and it’s going to lead to some interesting repercussions.
While she did make some good points when ripping into Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and the danger she represents, she did kinda lose us when she defended Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) as a father.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Trina’s Channeling Joss Could Hurt Spencer’s Attempts to Get Ace
‘General Hospital’ hope it was just the moment running away from her, but praising Nikolas as a good father when it was Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and boarding schools that raised him while Nikolas was being, well, Nikolas was a bit of a reach.
But Spencer seemed to take it to heart enough that he may take the next step in his legal endeavor to gain guardianship of Ace.

We’re hoping he won’t be so bold, but it looks like Spencer will confront Esme about her son, to which he has no legal claim over Ace as yet since Nikolas is the absent father (he’s good at it).
This will put Esme on the defensive since she’s been showing signs of falling for him as a co-parent, and she’ll point out she’s capable of taking care of her son.
This should trigger a good back and forth but they should had a mediator there as Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) looks like he’ll be caught in the middle.
We love Kevin, but he could be in over his head with this one since no one will be in a listening mood. For his safe, we hope Laura will be present to help try to keep things calm.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Close to breaking
While we don’t blame Trina since her and Spencer’s relationship has grown and his current relationship with Esme will be difficult at best to maintain, Esme was settling in and finding her comfort zone with Spencer and as a mother.
His snide and aggressive comments nearly drove her to fleeing the city at they not walked in on her when she was leaving, and this could undo everything she’s accomplished so far.
It could even trigger something in her to bring the old Esme back, and while he and Trina are relying on the old lawsuit and evidence to keep her in line, we doubt that’ll do much to deter her.
