‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers indicate that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is about to have a problem, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is blindsided, as are Stefan Dimera and Gabi Hernandez (Brandon Barash and Camila Banus). Also, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might want to think about skipping town. In case you missed it, let’s get to the day’s ‘Days of Our Lives’ recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: You’re fired
Ben and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) are marveling over the whole Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) was Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) thing they’ve just learned about when Gabi and Stefan enter the main room of the DiMera mansion. After explaining that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) found them, she reads Ben the riot act about not preventing what happened and fires him.
Ciara ain’t having that and explains that no one (including them) knew about this whole stolen identity thing. It still doesn’t explain how the DiMera mansion is basically a free-for-all for anyone who feels like dropping in, but whatever.

‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Or not…
Given that Casa Kiriakis and other places in Salem (including the Salem PD) aren’t the most secure either, we’re willing to cut Ben a little slack. It seems Stefan is as well, and eventually talks Gabi into reversing her decision.
Ben and Ciara are grateful, yet a bit surprised to note that Gabi and Stefan seem closer again. They don’t really get into that, though, but run off to celebrate the fact that Ben is still employed and they still have a place to live together.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Knowing her place
Also having some drama today is Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). She can’t believe that Holly is still alive and that Kristen used a fake death of a child to get her way. She’s also worried about something else. If Kristen was Nicole all this time, that means the love of Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) life didn’t mistreat him and destroy their bond. She’s afraid that he’ll now realize that maybe his feelings for her aren’t as strong as hers for him. His heart will still now belong to someone who’s dead.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Salem PD fail
Of course, Sarah’s worries might be well-founded. Eric is shocked to learn that Nicole is really supposedly alive and living in an undisclosed location with Holly. A place Kristen won’t give up unless she’s got immunity. Eric demands to be able to see her against everyone’s advice and confronts her about what she did and the lie she’s trying to sell.
Kristen insists this is no lie, and if he ever wants to see Nicole and Holly again, he needs to do whatever he can to help convince Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) to cut her a deal. Eric is enraged by all of this and grabs her by the throat. Kristen’s screams bring the cops running and they pull him off her. Eric then leaves to deliver the news to Sarah.
After that little fiasco the Salem PD stuns with their total lax behavior in allowing Xander to go in to see her next. You know, the guy who flipped on her? Right after another visitor tried to kill her? We’re pretty sure all these solo chats wouldn’t be acceptable in general, but definitely not after all that. Anyway, Xander and Kristen get into it a bit about his betrayal, and Xander counters that she needs to show some good faith by coughing up some details.
He claims she owes him, which is hilarious. Sure. The mastermind owes the lackey after he turns on her. Right. Good try, though, Xander. Kristen says she’s going to get him back for his betrayal. Nice knowing ya, Xander.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Bidding war?
Following Kate Dimera’s (Lauren Koslow) meeting with Wei Shin (Michael Hagiwara), Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) isn’t a happy camper. He drags himself out of bed to confront Kate at her hotel, accusing her of betraying the company. Kate says she did nothing of the sort, although Shin does want her for the head of DiMera bad.
She’d said no because of Kristen, but now that she’s on her way to prison, there’s no threat and Kate wants to know if Victor will make it worth her while to stay. And by that, we mean fire Brady and install her as CEO. She argues that he gets too wrapped up in personal issues and can’t head the company the way she could.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Plot twist
Victor ultimately turns her down, much to Maggie Kiriakis’ (Suzanne Rogers) delight. So, Kate accepts Shin’s offer, then heads to the DiMera mansion to inform Gabi and Stefan she’s now the boss. Damn. That DiMera CEO position is like a game of musical chairs. No wonder there’s talk of the company struggling.
We’re also questioning Shin’s wisdom in giving the CEO job to a woman who framed the previous guy for kidnapping, causing lots of bad publicity. A person who, by the way, was just working for the competition.
