‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) makes a big confession, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pleads her case to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen) apparently send a message. There’s also a startling reveal for several Salem residents. If you missed it, let’s get to your ‘Days of Our Lives’ recap.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Hero worship
Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is grateful to Susan Banks for saving Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) from her evil double. Susan plays off her heroics, and is just grateful that Marlena is safe. As they talk over the situation, they realize that Kristen must have been the first “Susan” to show up at Casa Kiriakis. Susan is horrified and offended that Kristen would sully her good name by throwing herself at Brady. She’s a one-man woman, ya know. Susan also can’t believe she fell Kristen lies about being her look-alike sister.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Confessions
Tony and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) are chatting outside. She is overwhelmed by the idea he would marry his own sister and help her with anything. Kristen’s a horrible person, and he is supposed to be the good DiMera. He explains he didn’t have a choice, as Kristen had threatened to kill Anna if he didn’t fall in line.
While they talk, he confesses to being the one who killed Ted Laurent (Gilles Laurent). She’s shocked, but is more understanding once she realizes it was an accident while he was trying to keep Ted from shooting Kristen. She says they need to go to police and explain everything. He’s doubtful of a good outcome, but she insists he was a victim of Kristen as well.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Kristen’s statement
At the Salem PD, Kristen is giving her statement about the events that took place. She conveniently, however, leaves out that Ted dying was a total accident. After her statement is taken, Brady wants to be alone with her.
As they talk, she insists that he wants her just as much as she wants him. He knew that it was really her, at least on some level. Brady denies this, and says that even if he had any feelings for her at all, he’d never be with the monster who was responsible for Holly’s death. Kristen counters that she never killed anyone, and Holly is alive and where she belongs—with her mother.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Making an example
Tony’s instincts turn out to be correct. He goes to the Salem PD and explains the situation. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) are sympathetic and agree to speak to Melinda about making a deal with him. Xander Cook got one, after all. Actually, more like two.
It seems that Melinda isn’t feeling very generous in the wake of that. She doesn’t want to be seen as being soft on crime, so she’s not going to be throwing around deals at the drop of a hat. She instead has apparently decided to press charges, so Eli arrests Tony.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers: Shocking confession
Xander may have lucked out with the DA, but he’s not doing so well at Casa Kiriakis. After Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) arrive and fill Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) on what happened at the anniversary party, Xander is persona non grata when he arrives. They condemn him for working with Kristen and leaving so much devastation in their wake.
Xander, to his credit, seems genuinely upset about the idea that he would actually hurt Holly, as he’d come to love the kid. He insists that he never touched a hair on her head, and Holly is actually alive.
