‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Leo Gets Unexpected News, Diana’s Deadly Plan Turns Salem Upside Down
Leo caught John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in Diana’s room and wants to know what exactly is going on here. He’s wary when he sees John holding a big envelope and tries to tough guy his way out of this. John’s not worried about Leo calling the cops, though, because he’s tight with the Salem PD and there is no way anyone would believe a word out of Leo’s mouth. He eventually breaks the news that he might be Leo’s father, and offers up a truce. Leo is shook, and nearly blabs his big secret.

Lucky for him, he covers fairly well when John tries to find out what Leo was about to say. John agrees to forget all about whatever is in that envelope so long as Leo drops the charges against Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Seeing no way out, Leo agrees to his terms and the pair meet with Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) to make it official.
Once they finish, John tells Leo that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has the DNA results waiting in her office and he invites Leo to open them together. Although Leo really wants to know, and we think John is helping to break through the bad genetics on mom’s side, he declines. He would rather confront his mother about her lies.
Leo arrives back at the hotel to find Diana fretting over the missing envelope. This is so going to be good…
We can’t even
So, now that Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) turned in Hayley Chen (Thia Megia), she returns to the apartment and makes nice with her and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). She even pretends to call her mom at Tripp’s urging to get legal help. All the while, she’s waiting for the other shoe to drop. And it’s going to drop. Hard. On her, once Tripp finds out.
Later, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) arrives, pretending to want the support of extended family as he tries to navigate life here with no memory. What he’s really doing is waiting for the bust to occur. Things get weird from here.

Seriously, we feel like we’re watching a bad comedy as Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) arrive to search the place. As soon as Eli and Lani come downstairs with Hayley in tow, the show is on. Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) has come with them and is taping the whole thing while Jack performs for the camera. It’s a really pathetic sight, and we’re in awe that the cops would actually let this happen. Hayley is taken away, while Tripp kicks Jack out. He swears to Claire that whoever spilled is going to pay for it. Oops.
Beware sweets
Marlena gives us one more reason to avoid sweets today—especially any that were sitting unattended. Diana had injected a box of donuts with penicillin, with a note from “Hayley” thanking Marlena for all her help. Marlena takes the bait, and John finds her lying on the floor in bad shape when he arrives to get the test results.
