‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is manipulating the direction of the ongoing murder investigation. Did you miss all the action in Port Charles yesterday? Well, fear not, because we have your General Hospital spoilers right here in your daily General Hospital recap. Let’s sum it up overall by saying that most of these people are not getting 2019 off to a very good start.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Deadpanning and Duplicity

The episode opened on a crime scene with Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) interviewing Samantha McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about the events of the previous night. They rehash the details for what is obviously not the first time, because they seem over the repetition.

Jordan earns some snark points for pointing out in a bit of a deadpan that investigations are supposed to be tedious and repetitive. It’s how you get the small details that can be important. And already, she’s surpassed her NBC counterpart for competence and likability. They comply and are eventually allowed to leave.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Ryan “Helps” With Investigation

Jordan sends for Dr. Kevin Collins, who in reality is Kevin’s twin brother Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to shed some light on the crime. How nice—she’ll be getting the real inside scoop from the perp himself. He helpfully points out that the killer wants attention and speculates the perp must have a bad background and strong resentment around holidays after they discuss the case some and point out the similarities.

Namely, the big one being all the victims were found after a holiday party. He also points out how the Ashfords themselves are a common factor, leading to the whole ‘killer wants attention’ theory. He warns it isn’t a question of if the killer will strike again, but when.

Speaking of the killer, he’s getting cozy with Ava Jerome (Maura West). She of course, thinks he is Kevin and they’d spent some time before he left to consult with the Ashfords packing up Kiki’s things, because he doesn’t think it’s healthy to keep it all out there.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu, Getting Into Trouble?

She goes along with it and heeds his warning before he goes not to open the door to anyone unless she knows for a fact who it is. She’s not alone long, because Lulu stops by to speak to Kevin. Since he’s not there, Ava suggests she call the office. Lulu agrees, but feels they need to talk about him. She’s worried that Ava doesn’t know much about his history and shares some interesting tidbits that seem to get Ava worried.

Someone who should be worried is Lulu, because we’re pretty sure we know who the next target will be. Kevin just happens to walk in on them talking and wants all the details after Lulu leaves. He admits to a psych breakdown, but thinks that Lulu needs to mind her own business.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Blackmailing and Diapers

Maxie Jones (Kristin Storms) wins the award for most entertaining moment when gives some snarky commentary on the conversation she’s watching between Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), saying he must have found Sasha Gimore (Sofia Mattsson) and gotten himself out of the doghouse. Nina spots her and they dish about the reunion, with Maxie adding a couple of other good comments. We like her.

Things get a little troublesome when Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) comes into the picture and claims to Nina, who’s surprised to see her that she’s got no room for revenge in her world anymore. That seems to be somewhat of a lie when Maxie and Nina excuse themselves to tend to Maxie’s baby. She approaches Valentin and thanks for him convincing Peter to change his testimony.

He shoots back that he wasn’t given a choice, because, ya know, blackmail. He doesn’t really want her around, but she’s covered herself. If anything should happen Anna Devane (Fionla Hughes), Jordan, and Nina will get letters spilling all the details of the Sash scam. He’s apparently not worried, saying he thrives in darkness, and we’re totally expecting a huge blowup to happen soon, because how can a situation like this end well?

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Who were you?/The signs don’t lie

Finally we’ve got an interconnecting story where Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) wants Julian Jerome (William DeVry) to give her her paycheck to move out of her sister’s place. She’s got some roomies all lined up, and spends a lot of time going on about the Universe and signs it’s time to get things go. Her comments remind Julian of seeing Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) kissing Drew Cain (Billy Miller) the night before, which apparently affected him so deeply he slept with someone else. Way to go to extremes, Julian. We’re pretty sure a kiss is nothing compared to that, but whatever.

When Kim comes by, Julian confesses this and she decides to go back to see her son, Oscar, at the hospital. Drew is surprised to find out that Julian broke up with her, but he’s got even bigger problems. Seems that, well, he can’t remember anything and Hank has been harassing him all episode about how Drew saved his life and how much he wants to thank him for that. Drew’s all “whatever” about it, because, again, no memory.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Other GH Spoilers

Speaking of Hank… you know that new place Kristina is planning to move to? Well, neither Sam, nor Jason, want her to do it, but Sam is especially upset. She wants to know how much Kristina actually knows about her roomies. She insists they’re all good people who are all about giving back. They want to at least see the place, so she invites them over. Jason is stunned to find out this Shiloh that Kristin has been talking about is actually Hank.
