‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Fresh Prince’s Janet Hubert (Vivian Banks) Move to Port Charles

‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that Janet Hubert joins Port Charles into a brand new role. There are rumors circulating that she’ll play a love interest of Mike’s. Hubert was on Fresh Prince for a few seasons as the original Vivian Banks and was then replaced. She will be introduced into Mike’s (Max Gail), story.

Hubert will be playing Yvonne. She lives in a nursing home where Mike dwells as well. Of course, somehow, Yvonne will be connected in Port Charles. There must be some connection to link these two together, and it is a soap opera. It remains to be seen exactly what this connection is for Yvonne.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers – Not Hubert’s First Go Round in the Soap Opera World

This is not the first role on a soap for Ms. Hubert. She appeared on One Life To Live where she played Lisa, who was Evangeline Williams’ mother. She was also on All My Children for a short while. She also played Chandler’s boss on Friends in 2002.

The first episode Hubert will be on in airs on Friday December 7. We’re excited to see what ABC has in store for Hubert and Yvonne, and can’t wait to see how this  new story line develops. It sure is refreshing to see characters that are outside the box.
