If anyone thought that the days of Trisha Paytas being amid scandal were over, clearly they weren’t paying attention. Trisha has managed to be the center of yet another scandal, this time potentially involving PETA (we know they’ve been notified at least) because of her particular choice in dining room decor.
Trisha decided she was going to have a vlog up where she sowed off her second dining room, and in it she had the ugliest set of dining room chairs imaginable – okay I guess that just depends on your taste, but in this case… the loss of animal life here clearly wasn’t worth it.
Trisha Paytas’ cancelled over dining room decor
What we’re talking about is how Trisha Paytas chose dining room chairs that were made from rabbit fur, and they weren’t even tastefully made, it looked like something straight out of Little House on the Prarie where the poor rabbit skins were just stretched over the backs of the chairs.
Instead of choosing a better looking, non-fur lined dining room chair, or perhaps even just lying and saying that the dining room chairs were made from fake fur, Trisha openly bragged about it and proudly showed off her dining room chairs, along with Moses. Of course this prompted her biggest superfan, a fan whose last name also happened to be Paytas, to unsubscribe from her and even get disinvited from her wedding!
Yes, that’s right, Trisha had invited a big superfan and supporter of hers whose last name also happened to be Paytas (as far as we know there was no relation) but after seeing that, the fan immediately stopped all support because this fan happens to own pet rabbits, and in the response video that she did she even said that looking at those chair was like looking at one of her own rabbits.
(In her video she was holding one of her rabbits and it had fur almost identical to the fur that lined Trisha’s chairs.) Initially this fan was invited to Trisha’s wedding but when she called her out – Trisha rescinded the invite.
That makes perfect sense for who Trisha is. Trisha has never been an animal person, you would think the opposite because she gives off the vibes of someone who would at least have a pet, but in spite of adopting a puppy a few years ago (whom she ended up giving to her Mom) Trisha has professed to be pretty much terrified of all animals.
Allegedly she has reasons, she was attacked by a dog as a child, a story that she’s mentioned several times but really hasn’t gone into detail about – she doesn’t seem to have any lasting scars from the attack though, at least not ones that are visible.
Is it surprising that Trisha would have chairs made from real rabbit fur? Not really. Is it surprising that she would have chairs made from rabbit fur that were that ugly? Yes, it’s amazing that those chairs even fit with her aesthetic. We’ll see where this trainwreck lands. Stay tuned!!!
