Today, instead of Jeffree Star’s video being about himself, or a makeup pallette, or one of his dogs, Jeffree Star decided to showcase his ability to be a human being and treat a friend to… a cosmetic procedure? Not just a friend, but a former back-up dancer (and Jeffree said “cousin” but that term is more honorary than anything), who is a 3 time cancer survivor.
His friend, Daniel, whom he has known since 2005, when they were on the Warped Tour together back in his MySpace heyday was diagnosed with cancer and had to have a full-on colon removal last year. According to Jeffree, Daniel has been through a lot (we’re not going to argue) and deserved a little treat, so together they both got lip fillers and botox.
Jeffree Star treats friend… to cosmetic surgery?
Yes, this was totally cleared by Daniel’s doctor, before anyone wonders. I wondered too because I would think that a cancer survivor would have to be uber careful before injecting anything potentially harmful into their body. As it is, it looks like Daniel has been cleared.
The techs were all cool with diong it and if there were any warnings that they had for Daniel, then they must have cut them all out. Afterward they went on camera to talk a little bit about how long Daniel and Jeffree have known each other and what a good friend Daniel is to Jeffree.
They’re now sporting the same ‘do’, so one wonders if maybe Jeffree shaved his head in solidarity… if true, that’s actually kind of sweet.
There was a mini-interview in the car as they drove to the procedure, someone in the back asked, “How did you know Daniel was your bitch for this? Your roll dog?” In all my born days I have never, ever heard the term “roll dog” and just want to know what on earth that means.
Of Daniel, Jeffree said that they were basically cut from the same cloth, and had a similar family background, there was an unexplicable bond and trust there, he also said that once everyone has been vaccinated and “the world changes” that he wants to travel the world with Daniel again like he did on Warped tour.
