‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) has been arrested for the attempted murder of Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) after Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) went to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) after she found her way into Alyssa’s room and found the pair of shooting gloves.
Rey never felt right about the case from the beginning and went with his gut on this one. He looked through Alyssa’s things and found the gloves, along with evidence that they had fired Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) gun. Seems like the case is closed, right? Well, there’s still more out there that needs to be answered for, and I think Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has the answers.
CBS ‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Was Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Assisting Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico)?
While it seems obvious Alyssa was out for revenge, the thing we don’t understand yet is how she got into Billy’s home and stole his gun. This could be explained with Victor’s help, but why would he help her when she was going to attempt to shoot his beloved son, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)?
I think after the shooting happened, and she got the gun through whatever resources, somehow Victor had linked up with her to try to cover it up and pin Billy. Victor was so disappointed when he heard that Alyssa had been arrested and Billy set free. I know he hates Billy, but wouldn’t he be glad that his son’s real killer is being locked away?
The entire situation has a lot of red tape and questions that need to be answered, but thankfully Rey followed his gut and now Billy is a free man.
