‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) has been welcomed to the Newman family! Whether that’s good or bad, we don’t know it. Would you really want to be accepted into that crazy family full of shenanigans?
At any rate, it happened. Chance had asked to speak to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and asked him for his blessing in his and Abby Newman’s (Melissa Ordway) marriage. Chance made it clear he wasn’t asking for permission, they’re adults and would marry either way. Victor is a little surprised by this, but after a great talk between these two, Victor gives Chance his blessing welcomes him to the family.

‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Is A Big Softy With Chance – Victor Gives Him His Blessing
We don’t normally see Victor as such a softie, and he even teases Chance about this. He tells him, he’s Victor Newman, he has a reputation to uphold. Chance assures him, his secret is safe with him.
I really enjoyed this short scene. I’ve been a fan of Boaz’s Chance Chancellor and seeing these two in this scene together was delightful. It signified mutual respect, not just Chance’s respect for Victor, and showed that Victor trusts Chance to protect and love his daughter.
