‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, July 22 finds Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) making a very surprising proposition to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). Also, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) strike a deal while Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) opens up about his past to Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) after she pushes to know the truth. Chelsea will have a face-off with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Tuesday, July 22: Adam Shows True Colors, Short Sells Christian – Makes Shocking Proposition To Nick!
In the courtroom, Nick says that Adam used that video to make him look bad in their custody case. He says that he did that in order to help find JT Hellstrom, when he was missing. He adds that everyone in the Newman family has forgiven him for what he did and that it doesn’t matter anymore. Nick strikes back at Adam and tells the judge that he took his company away from him in exchange for Christian. Adam hits back that the video says all there needs to be said about Nick’s character while Nick says that Adam lies and is ruthless. They also go over the accident that killed Delia. The judge concludes that he needs more time before making a decision.

Back at home, Summer Newman (Hunter King) isn’t very happy with her father. At Society, Phyllis checks out the story about Nick and isn’t surprised that this is all coming out right now. Abby agrees that this has Nick’s fingerprints all over it. They talk about Abby’s proposal. They look at the plans for the hotel. Phyllis thinks it’s a good idea but is surprised by Abby wanting to work with her. Phyllis shakes on it nonetheless. Summer arrives and sees Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Summer thinks it’s odd that he is working with her mother but says that she’s done with drama. Theo thinks it would be a good idea for Summer to network at the hotel’s opening.
‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Kyle’s Past Before Lola
At Crimson Light’s Kyle starts to open up about his past to Lola. He’s worried that if he tells her too much of the truth, she might not want to marry him anymore. Lola tells him she’s sorry. Kyle says that he had a fast partying lifestyle. He says that he was young, had a lot of money at his disposal and that women were jumping all over him. Lola admits that she sees a different side of Kyle whenever he’s with Theo. Elsewhere, Sharon confronts Chelsea and tells her that she is bringing out the worst in Adam. Chelsea hits back that if Adam takes Christian away from Nick, he will be crossing the line.
At Nick’s house, Adam stops by and tells his brother that he will drop the custody case in exchange for Chelsea. Nick tells Adam to take a look at the video and to not forget who he is trying to mess with.
