The last time we saw him in Genoa City was back in 2014. And while there was some talk about him coming back to the soap to reprise his role, it appears as though the actor has been busy doing other things instead. Here’s what you need to know.

Adam Newman has always been a controversial character for many fans but at the same time someone who sure brings a lot of excitement to Genoa City. In recent years the character has been portrayed by both Michael and actor Justin Hartley. And while Justin has moved on to star in the hit NBC dramedy This is Us, it appears as though Michael Muhney has been laying pretty low.

According to Michael’s IMDB page, he’s only had one television experience in recent memory and that was a one episode stint on the ABC drama The Good Doctor. However, he’s been keeping rather busy on his Twitter account. From the looks of it he’s been spending a lot of time with his family and helping his 11-year-old daughter out with her homework. He even had this to say to his fans:
“As a side not to you all, thanks for being good to me. Thanks for being kind and believing in me. Thanks for seeing my goodness and reciprocating it tenfold. The internet might be a brutal, savage place but you all have been wonderful to me and I owe you all a debt of gratitude.”
