‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Hunter King) has resurfaced in Genoa City, not that we didn’t already know, though it was quite surprising to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). He arrived at work only to see her standing there.
He was concerned about her and let her know he’s been worried. She immediately dove into what he’s been up to, visiting Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), and preparing for dating apps. Kyle tried to explain that it was all just a “show”. Summer didn’t buy it, so he pulled out the big guns.

Dina Mergeron died, he told her, pulling out the dead grandma card to get out of his troubles. While she understood what she meant to him, she still didn’t accept how he’d been acting. Sure, he went to talk to Lola, but from what we saw it was relatively innocent. Plus, he joked about the dating apps, but need we do not forget that he woke up to an empty room and a note. Summer had taken off, what was he supposed to do? Sit around in the room for a week like a puppy until she decided to come back.
They’re both making mistakes and being dumb, however, Kyle looks like he wants to make it right. He met with Summer in the park and told her they’d be together no matter what. The look on her face was one of confusion, however.
