    'Young and the Restless' spoilers: Nick Discovers Reed Was The Driver, Wants Him Punished

    The ‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will find out Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Lake Leabu) was the driver that hit Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Nick won’t just let it slide – he’ll demand that appropriate punishment be dished out to the perpetrator!

    Instead of understanding the circumstances and accepting his apology, Nick will demand he faces the consequences of his illegal act. Of course, this will put Nick at odds with his sister, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).  Victoria will try to protect Reed.

    While Victoria will not make any excuses for her son’s behavior, she doesn’t believe he should be put in jail. Nikki will forgive him for hitting her, as she knows it was not done on purpose. Victor Neman (Eric Braeden) will tell Reed that he shouldn’t have been behind the wheel with no license but will forgive the lad. However, Nick will not be so forgiving. It will lead to another Newman battle.

    Reed is with Nick on this. He thinks what he did was horrific and he deserves whatever is coming to him. Victoria doesn’t want him going to jail over this. For Reed, it isn’t just the hit-and-run charge, he also was driving without a license, which is a separate offense.

    Nick knows that his family wants to sweep this under the rug, but he cannot let them to that. Nick believes that Reed should be held legally accountable and urges Reed to do the right thing. The Y&R spoilers tease that the Newman family will scramble to find a way to Reed’s secret under wraps.
