Thompson recently talked to Soaps In Depth about his character Billy and how taxing acting can be to him sometimes. He has spoken a lot lately about how Billy is being put through some strong emotions on the show and sometimes, he does feel as if he is going a little mad! He talked about how it can be challenging because they don’t get the script too far ahead of time. It is tough for him to get the emotions just right sometimes.

He has also talked about how Billy Abbott has been one of the toughest characters for him to play in his soap opera career. The range of emotions that we have all seen Billy go through could be exhausting for someone who is not used to playing him. Thompson seems to have this role down to a T!

We have all seen Billy at his best and at his worst, but no matter what, we love how Thompson has been portraying him on the show. He said that the scenes where Billy had a break down were tough to film. He even said that some of the scenes that he recently filmed made he think about what had just happened.
