‘Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, August 16 finds that Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) big day is finally here. The two get married, but it won’t be without any drama. Kyle gets some last minute doubts after reading a text from his no good friend Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Also, Lola gets a surprise – or two – from her family members that have decided to show up, both invited and uninvited. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, August 16: Kyle & Lola’s Wedding Day Is Here – Kola Finally Get Married, Theo Eats Dirt!
For weeks now Theo has been egging Kyle or at least trying to stop him from what he thinks is going to be a very bad decision. Theo thinks that he’s the only person who knows the ‘real’ Kyle Abbott and keeps on reminding him of their party days from New York City. But Kyle wants nothing to do with him or the past for that matter. While he made it clear to Summer Newman (Hunter King) that Theo is not invited to his wedding, that doesn’t stop the bad boy from sending a text to Kyle right before the ceremony. He gives him something to think about, to say the least.
Meanwhile, Lola is having her own drama with the Rosales family. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) traveled to Miami and promised Lola that he’s not coming home unless he brings her mother Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) with him. Could Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) be tagging along too? Fans will find out soon enough. And while her brother Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) promised to walk her down the aisle, Lola’s real father will have the nerve to remind her that he still exists, giving her a reason to be upset right before she marries Kyle. Fans will have to tune in for all of the action!
