‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that there’s a lot of rumors out there about who tried taking a shot at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and while it’s fun to speculate, what does each person have for a motive and would they even know about this warehouse Adam had and was at?
The biggest suspect and rumor going around is little Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and while I even think it’s an interesting turn to the story, I just don’t see how she would get a gun, know where Adam was, make her way all the way over there, post up on the roof in all black and take a shot, only to hit Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). I think as a fun rumor this is fun to think about, but I don’t see it being Faith, to be honest.
Next would be Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who would definitely have the drive and ability to take a shot at Adam, but at the hospital, he didn’t seem too concerned as he had just shot Chance by accident. This is Adam’s pick and number one suspect, but this seems a bit obvious to me. I don’t think it was Billy either.

The last suspect I’ve seen that’s been popular is Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) who would absolutely kill Adam if given the chance, but again, just a matter of logistics. I suppose she is a journalist and could probably find out that Adam had these warehouses, but unless she was following him, how would she know he was there? I suppose I see Alyssa as the most probably of these first three.
Lastly, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). I know, she just “forgave” him or whatever. Although, maybe there’s a chance she’s been lying about trying to shoot Adam and she’s trying to get closer to him again to make it count. This one is a little far fetched as well, but makes for an interesting storyline if they chose to pursue it!
