‘Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) claims he is cutting the Newmans lose from his cunning grasp. He called a meeting between his siblings, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to tell them he wanted to be left in peace.
We weren’t sure whether or not to believe him, but what was really interesting was when he met with his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Adam gave Victor some papers and Victor assumed it was another attack, though, to his surprise, it was to sever ties with the Newmans!

‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Changing His Name To Adam Wilson! – Confronts His Father
While it looks cut and dry from our perspective, we have to remember Adam is a schemer, and it’s not likely he’s ready to just walk away from everything. What about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan)? What about his son? What about the investigators he hired to tail Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso)?
There are too many loose ends, especially for Adam. He may change his name and cut ties with his family, but this won’t be the end of it. He’ll be back for more, whether that means creating his own business to compete with them, delving deeper into criminal activity, or worse.
