WWE news has revealed that Vince McMahon has issued a statement stating that everyone at the WWE are thinking of Shad Gaspard’s family. The former WWE superstar has been missing for two days after going missing. Reports have stated that Gaspard went missing after getting caught in a strong rip tide.
It has recently been revealed that the US Coast Guard have suspended their search for the former wrestler. The 39-year-old was last seen at the newly-opened Venice Beach. Gaspard reportedly told lifeguards to save his son first, as the 10-year-old was also swimming. His son is in good condition and did not need to be transferred to hospital.

The statement issued by McMahon echoed the statement that was also released on the WWE’s social media channels. Gaspard’s family have been touched by the gestures of people around the world, as they revealed their ‘gratitude’. The statement also stated that they are thankful for the coast guard and life guards that were able to rescue their son Aryeh.
In the statement, the family also remained hopeful that Gaspard will be found safe, and also revealed that he is a ‘warrior’. The sentiment in the statement from the WWE has also been echoed by various superstars that have competed for the WWE in the past with The Rock, MVP and Bill Goldberg.
WWE News: Gaspard’s WWE Career
Gaspard ended his run with the WWE in 2010 and embarked on a career in acting. During that time he starred in hits such as From Dusk Till Dawn, Get Hard and Think Like A Man Too. His run in WWE will most fondly be remembered for the tag team he formed with JTG called Cryme Tyme. Their began their run as a team in 2006 and competed against CM Punk and went on to defeat the World Tag Team Champions, the Spirit Squad.
The tag team were released from the WWE in 2007, before making their return the following year. They teamed with John Cena in his feud with JBL. They went on to challenge for the tag titles on numerous occasions before making their final appearance on WWE television in 2010. He went on to appear at NWA Pro and JAPW over the following two years.
