A female who sent her former partner an immense amount of messages asking for him to accept her back could be sentenced to prison for causing him to be close to committing suicide.
Woman Who Begged Boyfriend To Take Her Back Could Face Jail After Her Constant Messages Made Him Consider Suicide
After Michelle Felton and Ryan Harley had ended their relationship, she became besotted with him and communicated with him via either phone calls or messages up to 150 times in a single day.
Once Felton started bestowing presents in front of Mr Harley’s door, who resides with his mum, he finally decided to contact the police. In his comments, Ryan allegedly told the police the following: “I just want it to go away and for it all to stop. I just feel like ending it all.”
Harley alleged that Felton had been dominating him during their two-year period of being together. She was released on bail but could be facing a prison term of up to six months.
The two began their relationship in 2020, but they separated after a dispute, during which Harley unintentionally fractured Felton’s finger, and she retaliated by kicking him in the groin.
While that may have been the case, Felton alleged that it was not clear whether or not the relationship had ended. And yet, it appears as though this may not have been the case.
Lynne Sayers, who happened to be presiding over the prosecution, had this to say: “She contacted him at all times of the day. He just wanted it to go away and for it all to stop. The effects on this perpetual messaging on him have been significant.”
The social media response, however, focused on what Hartley could have done. A significant proportion of people were of the view that he should have taken action sooner. And in the process of doing so, things would have been helped if he had blocked her messages.
One person wrote: “Why not just block her? I had to block someone I was previously seeing off all platforms. He then started emailing me, I blocked his email. He created new email accounts and continued to contact me several times a day begging me to take him back.”
