Before meeting Prince Harry, a videographer who worked with Meghan Markle in the 2010s said that Meghan had a reputation for being a “princess.”
Meghan Markle Had A List OF Rules For The People She Worked For
She always had to have everything her way. The Duchess of Sussex brought an enormous entourage with her. She also came with a massive list of rules, including not shooting her feet and always wanting a specific brand of champagne on hand.
Meghan also demanded to have the final approval of everything.
“She was very high-maintenance and rude,”
said the videographer. The former actress was said to
“Bulldoze her way through”
during a campaign for a Canadian clothing store.
Meghan didn’t want the camera to get anywhere near her feet. Her feet would later become a significant point of discussion when she took off her shoes during a royal engagement, calling attention to a scar on her left foot that was said to be from a bunion removal operation.
The videographer said he worked with Meghan on a promotional project in Canada while she was still on “Suits.”
He said that from the minute she came into the room, she acted like she was hot s**t.
“It was the attitude. How she talked to people. The rules,”
he explained.
She hid her face from view and walked in like a diva. Meghan didn’t want anyone looking at her as if she were trying to avoid the paparazzi.
He claimed that everyone was thinking the same thing.
“She is acting like an A-lister when she is not even a D-lister. But it was kind of a caricature of someone playing the superstar, you know, because a real superstar, generally, unless it’s a super bad day, they will play it naturally and be generous with their presence.”
Meghan Was Said To Have Bullied Palace Staff
Interestingly, the videographer also claimed she was very professional during the shoot and knew how to work the camera once it was rolling. She had presence.
However, when the work ended, she was aloof and demanding. She was constantly rolling her eyes and huffing and puffing.
A star usually does not question the director’s instincts, but she wasn’t about to do whatever they suggested. She was so mean that one person on the videographer’s team was traumatized.
Meghan was also branded “Duchess Difficult” when she was a working royal. Two of the Palace aides quit because she was that demanding. She bullied the Palace staff.
One odd demand was that air fresheners be placed in St. George’s Chapel because of its “musty smell,” but palace aides refused, telling her it was a place of worship and inappropriate.
Meghan allegedly had some of the palace staff in tears. She would start emails early in the morning with a list of daily demands.

An email about Meghan was sent to Prince William’s secretary. The email was linked to the press just days before the Oprah interview in March 2021.
Prince Harry often described the palace as divided between Team Sussex and Team Cambridge. Harry and Meghan discontinued as working royals in January 2020, much to the joy and delight of many palace staff.
