Tori, babe, is that you? Apparently, Hollywood actress and reality television star Tori Spelling turned a whole lot of heads when she looked very unrecognizable during a night out in L.A. this week. In fact, a lot of people couldn’t even believe that it was her as they had to do a double take to make sure it was indeed Dean McDermott’s wife. Here’s what you need to know.
Tori was on hand for the wrap of MTV’s ‘Messyness’ with Snooki, her hairstylist Laura Rugetti and some other friends, per Page Six. Tori even shared a snap of herself alongside Snooki for her Instagram page. She captioned the post with, “My Messy Bestie… actually we are the duo you never knew you needed. @snooki you might be my twin flame ( but shorter ) love the way we empower each other to be our authentic selves. Xo.”

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for the internet to react to Tori’s new look. Many of the took to her comments section to write, “Wow Tori doesn’t look like her any more. Kardashian surgery? Authentic? Really?” along with, “ Lol. She she says she’s being her authentic self. This has got to be a joke because she doesn’t look anything like herself in this photo. Tori, what in the world have you done to your face?”
Another person wrote: “Did u use the same PS? Authentic? What is left that’s real? Maybe we disagree on the word authentic. But I can see how this post has nothing to do with looks or fashion. She is saying that they can truly be themselves when they are together. ZERO judgement!!”
Back in October of 2020, Tori admitted that she was often bullied for her looks. Sharing a photo of herself looking up with the camera pointed at her, the blonde beauty began her Instagram post with, “My Dad always said ‘Your eyes are the windows to your soul.’ I’ve never forgotten that. Because of that belief my Dad rarely let his actors wear sunglasses in a scene. He believed their eyes conveyed everything. All emotions. I’ve carried that motto thru my life. I always look people in the eyes. I hold their gaze always. I never look away. I’ve taught my kids to always show people respect and look them in the eyes when they are talking to them.”
Tori added, “I used to hate my eyes. When I started 90210 at 16 I was filled with low self confidence. Then, internet trolls ( yep we had them back then too!)called me frog and bug eyed. Being put under a microscope as a young girl in her formative years was hard. I spent years begging makeup artists on my shows and movies to please try to make my eyes look smaller. I would cry over my looks in the makeup trailer chair. I didn’t start to realize what an asset my eyes were till I did Scream 2 and the cover of Rolling Stone reenacting the iconic shower scene from Psycho. My eyes made that photo. They showed the emotion I was “feeling in my soul” in that picture.”
