Talk about a nightmare situation. There’s a new report that suggests Dean McDermott wants to pull the plug on his marriage to Tori Spelling. But there’s just one problem: he can’t afford to do it. Here’s what you need to know.
While Tori and Dean have made a lot of headlines in the past for their financial troubles, it looks like this time around things are serious. While the couple have not been seen together in months, Dean was hoping to file for divorce by the end of the summer, but has a giant stack of bills that he needs to take care of first.
Dean McDermott Is Too Broke To File For Divorce From Tori Spelling
One source close to the situation told The Sun: “Tori and Dean are totally stuck together right now. Neither of them can afford to go through divorce proceedings. Right now divorce isn’t on the horizon because they can’t swing it financially. They are in a living nightmare.”
Dean was working on projects in Canada and was hoping to move on to the next chapter of his life but was forced to pause in his tracks. The tipster added that when Dean got back from his trip he was greeted with “bills that had piled up. And a lot of those bills are in part because they have so many pets.”
The insider added, “He was happy to be going away and he was ready to be done with his marriage when he returned.”
As many fans know, Tori and Dean are the parents to five children and a “ton of pets.” Just how many, know one knows.
Last year, Tori said that her eldest daughter Stella recently uncovered information about her father’s affair online.
“My kids have not seen clips, but they’ve seen something out there online and my daughter saw something,” Spelling said. “It really upset her.”
Recalling the affair and the emotional toll it took on her at the time, Tori said, “My biggest fear in our relationship was I was like, he’s going to cheat on me, he’s going to cheat on me, he’s going to cheat on me,” she said. “So when it happened, I was like, ‘See, I always thought from day one he was going to cheat on me,’ and it wasn’t about him, that was about me. I was like, ‘Okay, I know I’m not good enough,’ that’s how I felt about myself and one day he’s going to realize that and he’s gonna find someone else.”
