TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days’ spoilers finds that we saw Geoffrey Paschel leave Russia after his girlfriend, Varya Malina, told him that she wasn’t ready to get married yet. He took this as a breakup and went back home to Tennessee. It seems like he wasted no time getting back into the dating pool. He went out on a date with his friend, Mary. Instead of calling this a rebound, he told fans it is a “rekindling” of sorts.

Geoffrey thought that it was important to him and his fans to talk about what is going on with him and Mary. He was interviewed for the Domenick Nati Show and we have some of the interview for you. Nati asked him,”How much time elapsed from you being in Russia to you being with Mary?” Geoffrey replied, “From what you saw, it was roughly about three months. It was Mary’s birthday. That’s why I took her to dinner. That’s why I gave her flowers. The conversation moved into something more romantic and it kind of went from there. Pretty much Varya showed up the next day. It was like a quick, a spontaneous thing going on.”

Nati then asked, “Do the producers tell you ‘hey someone’s coming’?” Geoffrey smiles really big and says, “It was a complete surprise, 100%! I know people think it’s staged and so fake. I was caught in a moment, I had my s**t eating grin on. I didn’t know what to do. It felt like my heart went down to my toes. Mary was still at my house from the night before, so…” He laughs and appears to be blushing quite a bit. Nati says, “Oh OK, so you guys consummated the relationship?” Geoffrey says, “I didn’t say anything about consummation. We hung out that night. She came over, she drank a little bit, so I didn’t let her drive, that kind of thing. You know, we hung.” Geoffrey looks very guilty as he finishes the thought.
Nati asks him if he was thinking about Varya at all in the moment when she came over. Geoffrey said, “No. In my mind, the show was wrapped.We’re just tying up loose ends. That’s what I was told anyway. Three months, I wasn’t in mourning. Nobody died. It was just me getting over and moving past. It wasn’t a rebound because I was with Mary long ago and if anything I was rekindling.”
