The new season of Welcome to Plathville is here and viewers are already confused as to what is going on with Olivia and Ethan Plath. Olivia’s sister, who she claims she no longer speaks to, has mentioned that Olivia and Ethan haven’t been together for quite some time.
Of course, Olivia feels as if these rumors are just too much. However, she has stated that she and Ethan and still married, but the newest episodes of this season may give us some more insight on what is going on in their marriage.

Ethan and Olivia were happy to take a trip to Europe last year and when they got back to the states, they realized that there was a lot of drama happening in their family. It turns out that his family has pretty much turned against her and this has really made things hard for them.

In the newest episode of Welcome to Plathville, Ethan and Olivia will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary together. Ethan has decided that they really do need to spend more time together and he felt as if their Europe trip was really what they needed.
He told the cameras that this trip really did bring them closer together and he added, “Riding bicycles everywhere, walking, talking to each other with no goal but just to explore and see things together. Also, we worked through some stuff while we were out there. Maybe not in the best way, but we did work through it.”
Olivia mentioned that the trip was good for her since Ethan’s family didn’t get invited. “I honestly think it was the very limited contact with other people who are maybe meddling in our relationship. It was just me and you having to work through things, having to talk through things, without all these other voices adding their opinions, and getting involved.”
Ethan also felt that their move to Minnesota was really good for them. They are no longer close to his family and that has been good for them. Ethan added, “The future looks bright and I’m excited.”
With all of the other drama happening in their lives, it seems as if Ethan really wants to work on his marriage to Olivia and try to push all of the other factors aside. We will have to see if these outside factors really can change their marriage or if they can stay together regardless of these factors.
