For months now, there have been rumors that Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath were going through a divorce. Olivia has been ignoring comments from her fans on social media about their marriage. It looks as if she has decided to put these rumors to rest though.
Just this past week, Olivia took to Instagram to share with her fans a few photos of her with friends and family at a dinner party. This photo immediately put the rumors of a divorce to rest.

Olivia shared a photo of herself with others at a dinner party and fans immediately saw that Ethan was with her. She used the heart hands emoji to caption her post.

Even though this picture may not have said much, it is clear that Olivia and Ethan are still cordial if nothing else. They were not sitting by one another, but everyone at the table was smiling.
Of course, Olivia’s fans continue to ask her if she and Ethan are doing alright, but she has yet to make the official statement. The two of them are still following each other on social media, but they seldom like or comment on one another’s posts.
That has seemed strange, but Ethan isn’t too active on social media so it doesn’t seem like a surprise for him. However, Olivia, who posts frequently, hasn’t shared a post with him since November 2022. Ethan hasn’t shared anything with her since January.
The rumors began really taking flight when Olivia’s sister told an Instagram account that her sister and Ethan were “in the middle of a divorce”. She also said that she had the inside scoop on when the next season of the show would air, but Olivia went Live to tell her fans that her sister is not a credible source.
She said, “A friend informed me of this post so I just wanted to take a second and clarify. Sophia is my younger sister, but her and I have a very distant/strained relationship due to our worldviews and reactions to the ultra-religious world we were raised in. Subsequently, she actually isn’t a reliable source when it comes to my personal information as she doesn’t know about my personal life. There is a lot of speculation going around, but if Ethan and I had something to share, we would. Thanks!”
