‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers indicate that Moriah is finally getting to live the teenage life that she always wanted to live and doing regular, teenage things, like wriiting a song about her new boyfriend, Max! Awww!
We got to hear a portion of it on episode 3 of Welcome to Plathville, but I wonder if Moriah is going to actually do the recording thing anytime soon and make an album, or at least release a single. Maybe she’s not as far along in her craft for that as we had hoped, or maybe her music is just too personal, as evident when she started crying after playing the song.
‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: But you can tell she definitely has talent.
Just like any young girl, she says that her relationship with Max is bringing out a side of her that she never knew existed. That can be exciting but it can also be scary for someone who is experiencing it for the first time.
Especially someone coming from Moriah’s background, someone who practically jumped from Little House on the Prairie to the modern day in a single year.
Also, the culture that Moriah grew up in doesn’t really allow for these kinds of expansive dating relationships, they believe in setting your sights on someone and either talking it over with them and announcing a courtship/engagement or having the parents arrange things for a courtship, so the way Moriah is doing things is considered, surprise surprise, scandalous.
She says that the way she has grown-up has definitely affected her though and sometimes she has trouble communicating the way she should with Max. That’s kind of sad because the way Moriah comes off she seems like the type that would have no trouble communicating at all with anyone, but, just because someone hides it well doesn’t mean that they don’t have scars.
Just looking at Moriah you wouldn’t think that she actually has any scars, you would think that she’s just a normal teenager, but what you don’t see is the years of being held back, and judged, and feeling less-than, simply because she was a little more open-minded than the rest of her family. I root for Moriah, and wish her the best of happiness in her relationship. Stay tuned!!!
