‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers find that Moriah Plath was discussing college with her brother, Micah Plath’s friend, Sarah Lynn. Sarah Lynn confessed that her own Mom wasn’t initially supportive of her decision to go to college either.
They kind of threw shade at the fact that it seemed their families wanted them to go to college to ‘be a Mom’ but said that that would make absolutely no sense at all.
(Yeah, you’re right, it wouldn’t.) Sarah Lynn said that now that her Mom has gotten over the initial shock of it and that she’s been at college for two years now that her Mom seems to have made her peace with it, This gave Moriah hope about her own path.

Moriah also said that her family shouldn’t have been so focused on what their kids shouldn’t be able to do in life and said that they should have focused on education and the like – AMEN, MORIAH! Let’s have a round of applause for this mature, well-rounded girl.
Her insight is a gift from God Himself, and her family should be pretty grateful for that. Seriously though, she hit the nail on the head, the Plath should have focused way more on education.
She was talking to Sarah Lynn about how she chose her major, I’m glad that Moriah has found more like-minded individuals to discuss her college dreams with.
This can only be a good thing, no she’s not actively pursuing college now but the more she asks around, the more curious she’ll be and I do feel confident that she’ll find her way.
The thing is, I hope she has a good chunk of money saved because college is expensive and while Kim and Barry Plath would love to pay for a weddin (I’m sure), I think they’d balk at the idea of paying for college.
Don’t worry Moriah, there are student loans, we’ve all had to take them out and we’ll all have to pay them back. I hope that Moriahs’s dreams of going to college can come true soon, for her sake.
It would give her access to better jobs and perhaps not having to have two jobs in order to make ends meet. Best of luck to her. Stay tuned!!!
