‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers find that we have really come to enjoy seeing the Plath family each week and the changes that have happened in their lives. Kim and Barry Plath never cease to amaze us with how they have raised their children in a very conservative background.
We have seen their oldest children rebelling against them and approaching their parents about how they raised them in a way that didn’t prepare them for the outside world. With all of the commotion that season two brought to us, fans now want a third season.
‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers: The End of the Season
We saw Ethan Plath make a lot of changes to his life in spite of his parents. He and his wife, Olivia Plath, have decided to do more in their lives to show his parents that he doesn’t need their demanding ways hanging over their heads.
Olivia introduced him to different types of alcohol, taught him more about sex, and women, and wants him to travel with her more. The couple was on the verge of a divorce, but when Ethan cut tabs with his parents, things started to look up for the young newlyweds.

During the second season, we also got a chance to see Moriah Plath and Micah Plath living together and away from their parent. They are both now dating and have started their careers. Moriah introduced her boyfriend to her parents in a cringe worthy scene.
Moriah still turns to Ethan and Olivia for the bigger life questions and Kim still holds Olivia accountable for turning her eldest daughter against them.
We also got to know Lydia PLath a lot more on this season. She would hide in the broom closet and pray to God that her family got back together and then she would go about her chores.
Fans felt bad for her because she was pretty much being used for her house cleaning work. It didn’t seem like Kim respected her at all. Hopefully we will get to see more of her next season as well.
So with the second season over with, fans will just have to wait and see what TLC does with the Plaths. It is clear that the show has gained a lot more popularity than the first season and we think this could convince TLC to bring us a third season.
