‘Welcome to Plathville’ spoilers indicate that this series was going to return to the TLC schedule or not because we literally had not heard anything about it for so long, but we asked, and God, the Fates, and the execs at TLC smiled upon us and have given us another season of the popular series about a very, very large, uber Conservative Christian family. And this season promises not to disappoint either!
Moriah Plath has moved out of the house and she now has a boyfriend. A boyfriend that drives a motorcycle no less! Moriah blushingly confesses to the camera that that’s been one of her secret fantasies for a long time to have some guy on a motorcycle to take her away.

Of course, Kim Plath, her Mom cautions her that she’s still underage and not to do anything that would ‘ruin herself for other people’. However, Moriah says that she doesn’t want to talk about her boyfriend with her parents, and honestly considering how Kim and Barry Plath (Dad) acted last season about the minor things that Moriah was doing, I can’t say I judge her one bit for the way that she’s handling things.

It was pretty clear the way things were headed last year, we’ve all seen the Duggars and know that they promote a very conservative culture of ‘dating with intent’ and ‘matchmaking’ and basically everything short of an actual arranged marriage. The Plaths may not come out and say it, but you could tell that’s the direction that things were headed in. I don’t blame Moriah one bit for fleeing while she had the chance.
She also say that she has moved out of the Plath’s farmhouse and is now living on her own and working two jobs. She says she’s happier now that she isn’t judged for the way she dresses or acts. We can all relate to that, especially when home ends up where you don’t belong.
Will she return this season to the farmhouse or is this split permanent? And where are Ethan and Olivia? Just because we didn’t see them in the promo doesn’t mean they won’t feature somewhere, although probably not as prominently as last year. Apparently this all goes down on Nov. 10th, we’ll be waiting with bated breath! Stay tuned!!!
