‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers finds that Olivia Plath decided it was time for her and sister-in-law Moriah to go on a beach trip, so they high-tailed it on down to Tallahasee where they met Helena, Micah’s friend.
The three decided to stay at a really gorgeous resort, Sandestin, and there the three talked about life and their respective relationships.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Girl’s day out
Obviously, Helena didn’t grow up in the Plath world (or at least we don’t think she did) so she doesn’t know what it’s like to grow up as strictly as Olivia and Moriah do. However, it’s rather amazing how three people with different backgrounds can have similar viewpoints on things.
Both Moriah and Helena are very independent and individual-minded. Moriah mentioned how she dress being a point of contention between her and Max but was quick to tell the girls that everything she did was for her, not to advertise to other guys, which she told Max last week and they had a pretty healthy discussion about it.
You can tell that Olivia wants to be as individual-minded as these two, she’s still young, just 23, but yet she has the responsibilities of someone twice her age. Still, she embraces this young mindset.
As far as dating goes, the tea on Micah and Helena’s relationship is “We’re not there yet.” and she says that ultimately it looks like she and Micah want two entirely different life goals so they’re better as friends.
Something that Olivia noted was really wise for someone her age, something that you could tell she kind of envied because as she put it, dating to marry was really pushed on her as a teenager, there was no pausing to figure things out, it was simply “if you date then you must get married”.
You can tell that Olivia kind of envies the freedom that these two have. Also, Olivia confessed that aside from Moriah and Helena she doesn’t really have anyone local that she talks to that can relate to her struggles.
Aside from going back to school, which I don’t think Olivia wants to do (and that’s fine, school is not for everyone, it should always be a choice), there is really nothing she could do in her area to get friends – aside from joining bumble for friends, which is technically a dating app but there’s a friend side of it too.
Though, sometimes meeting people through apps can be questionable, and maybe Olivia doesn’t want any speculation to come.
After all, she didn’t tell Helena or Moriah anything about the trouble she was going through with Ethan and responded with an “Eh.” when Moriah asked how they were doing. She said she wanted to respect him, so she’s not speaking on the details right now… Olivia can be wise too. Stay tuned!!!
