‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers reveal it’s been a long time coming but Lydia Plath of the Welcome to Plathville Clan has finally joined instagram. For the first three seasons of the show, Kim and Barry Plath severely limited their children’s social media.
It seemed that Moriah Plath and Micah Plath were the ones that really embraced it but that was only once they moved out. (Or in Moriah’s case had one foot halfway out the door in the first place.) However, Lydia was the good child and she seemed to abide by everything her parents wanted for her, which seemed to be a completely analog existence.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: …Until now.
Lydia has joined the digital age and while she has only posted around 7 pictures at the time of this writing she does state that she will be releasing her first song in January. It makes one wonder just why the sudden change of heart in the Plath family? Ethan talked about just a few years prior that Moriah was met with a ton of pushback when she wanted to release music and get help from a family member to do so.
But suddenly everyone is okay with Lydia releasing music? It could have something to do with the content of the music as well, Moriah wanted to release secular music but Kim Plath was really against it, so we can be willing to bet that whatever Lydia is releasing will have a religious overtone.
Even though on her instagram bio it states that religion is the last thing that she wants, rather just a relationship with the Father… okay, fair, but that looks an awfully lot like religion to the rest of us. So far she has posted some really cute pictures of domestic life at home with the little Plaths, and some pictures with Moriah – but what surprised us is the fact that she has a few pictures of her hanging out with Ethan!
Did he break his no-contact rule for Lydia or did she sneak off? Speaking of being sneaky it seems that Lydia posted a video of her and Isaac doing the chubby bunny challenge which consists of stuffing all the marshmallows you can in your mouth. What would Ma Plath say about all that sugar, I wonder? Stay tuned!!!
