CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that it’s been an interesting few months for the Abbott family. With Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) withering away, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been on an emotional rollercoaster. Over the last while, we have seen a softer and more humane side to Jack. He has been humble, understanding and calm. Jack makes the time to sit down with Jill Abbott Atkinson – who is still reveling after her failed marriage to Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) (who is basically a con man and a jail bird). The old lovers connect over their struggles and have a lovely conversation.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Recap: No Bad Blood Between Jack and Jill

Jack called Jill to meet him at Society. The two needed the opportunity to catch up and hash out the difficulties that life has imposed on them lately. The two discussed the struggles in business. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have been duking it out over business lately. The two aren’t seeing eye to eye. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), on the other hand, are battling over the women. The younger generation in Genoa City just doesn’t seem to get it. Jill tells Jack that Theo has a fire in his belly. She warns him to get a handle on it. Jack agrees. Theo reminds Jack of himself.

Jill Abbott expresses her pain points with Dina’s illness. She feels guilty for her relationship with her mother. Jack is a sounding board as Jill expresses her fears. The two are grateful that they can be friends. After all of these years, it feels good to have someone to rely on. Jill jokes that Jack wasn’t her worst relationship of all time – after all, she did just separate from a con man and liar. Jill doesn’t know if she will ever become romantic again. At the end of their meeting, Jack asks Jill to do this more often. She agrees. It is refreshing to see these two Y&R veterans support each other in hard times! Do you like Jack and Jill together? Will they stay friends, or do you think it’s time that Jack rekindles a romantic relationship with a Genoa City bachelorette?
