Kayne West has had a lot of backlash lately, but now it looks like things could be getting even worse. It turns out that one of his fans could be pressing charges against him for punching them while they were outside a nightclub in Los Angeles. The incident happened in January, according to TMZ.

There were multiple witnesses that saw the whole thing go down and police have almost completed the entire investigation. They have statements from fans, passersby, and paparazzi videos of the incident occurring. Interestingly enough, who’s statement do they not have? That’s right, Kayne’s. He has been claiming that his schedule is way too busy for him to give his side of the story.

The police added, “we will soon ship our findings off to the L.A. City Attorneys Office. Officials will then decide on whether to file any criminal charges.” The police have said that they have quite a bit of evidence that could be used to charge Kayne with this crime.
Kayne did talk to Hollywood Unlocked after the incident and told them, “I ended up getting into an altercation with the individual that wanted to make money off my autographs. He had this real attitude.. I’ma just tell you, that blue COVID mask didn’t stop that knockout.”
The video footage that was caught for the incident shows the man laid out on the street and Kayne basically exploding on him. He was in a fit of rage and it is clear that he meant serious business. Come to find out, Kayne broke the man’s nose and that is one of the reasons that he is pressing charges.
Kayne’s management hasn’t really wanted to make a statement on this either. With everything that has happened and it being all over the news, it is clear that Kayne did something wrong.
There are multiple sources that believe that Justin Poplawski was the man accused of selling Kayne’s autographs and many other A-list celebrities. He told the press, “I don’t really have a comment right now, not at this moment. I still have other things to take care of. Right now I’m just trying to live life and get back home.” The men exchanged words that night and it looks like things just went downhill from there.
We will definitely keep an eye on this story to see if Kayne will, indeed, face charges for the incident.
