Kayne West may have just started a war with his record label after the rapper claimed that they released his latest album entitled ‘Donda’ without his approval.

Has Kayne West Declared War On His Record Label?

The rapper immediately thrust himself back into the music scene following the news that he would be divorcing his long-time wife, Kim Kardashian.

Naturally, the anticipation for his new album was growing by the minute as Kanye promised that it would be some of his best work to date. And yet, it seems that he has been left dissatisfied by it all with a hint that he may not have been happy with the final product.

In a post to his fans on Instagram, Kanye said: “Universal put my album out without my approval. And they blocked ‘Jail 2’ from being on the album.” Despite the unhappiness that Kanye is clearly exhibiting, Kim was on hand to show her support for the album.

This was no surprise, however, as the pair have continued to have a good relationship since they announced they would be splitting. In addition, Kim even wished Kanye the best on the rapper’s 44th birthday even though he was spotted hooking up with Irina Shayk at the time.

Having said all that, Kanye is no stranger to having problems with record labels. And looking at his past comments, it is easy to see that he has been unhappy with his label for some time.

In a prior post on social media, he remarked: “I’m not putting no more music out till I’m done with my contract with Sony and Universal. On God … in Jesus name … come and get me. I’m not industry, bro … I don’t care… I’m in service to Christ … we need world healing.” It is not clear whether Kanye’s comments will have any repercussions for his music career.

But that has not stopped him from caring about what others think. We only have to look at when he accused former US President George Bush of not caring about black people in response to his lack of support in helping victims of hurricane Katrina live on TV.

We will have to see how things will play out. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit The Go To Family for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favourite daytime television soaps.
