First, Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal Eugenio asks José Luis Velasco Rodríguez (Hernán Mendoza) to kill Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana). It looks like he might just go along. On Wednesday, he admitted to Adriana Sánchez (Luz Ramos) he was working with Eugenio to protect Leslie Velasco (Assira Abbate).
It looks like Leslie’s best efforts to keep her secret fail. Because he’ll ask Eugenio for help to get him out of the country now that Leslie’s condition has worsened. We assume she’ll have another episode like last night’s, and maybe worse.
It’s a shame, because we started liking her character. Even if we have a few things to say about how they’re playing this thing out. More on that later.
Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers For January 14: Surprise!
Elsewhere, we’ve got a bit of a surprise ahead. We figured something weird was going on with Cristina Olasábal (Iliana Fox). One minute, she looks like an obsessive mess that’s trying to hold on to Leonardo “Leo” Velasco Rodríguez (Andrés Palacios) by any means necessary. Others, she seems to be doing her best to get José Luis’ corruption out in the open. Tonight, there’s a big reveal.
It seems she’s been on Team Eugenio the whole time. He and Cristina prepare a new plan to keep from being arrested, so we see that José Luis is even more of a tool than we thought. He has no idea he’s being set up to take a huge fall, and we kind of think he deserves it with the way he’s treated his family at times.
How are they going to do this? Cristina asks Eugenio to turn in Elisa Cantú Robles (Angelique Boyer). So, it’s possible our not-so-great protagonista has another huge obstacle in her way. Wake us when that part’s over and Renata Cantú Robles de Arizmendi’s (Susana González) back in action.

Finally, Imperio de mentiras spoilers indicate we don’t know what the writers are thinking. We’ll admit that we don’t know exactly how things work in other countries.
However, we just don’t think that a doctor anywhere would, or should, do what Leslie’s doctor is doing. He actually agreed to lie to a minor’s parents about her medical condition because the teenage patient asked him to.
It’s insane, but we think after Leslie had an incident that reveals her condition is getting far worse, we think he’ll give her no choice. The fact he listened to begin with, though, should cause him tons of problems with her family.
