Maryna Moroz, who happens to be a Ukrainian UFC fighter, has let the Russian President Vladimir Putin know exactly how she feels about his decision to go to war with Ukraine.

Maryna, for her part, has a lot on her plate at the moment. Not only is her country being decimated before her very own eyes, as she has to stand by and watch from afar, but she also has a massive UFC fight coming up against Mariya Agapova.

Therefore, the last thing that she needs is to worry about a conflict that threatens the future of her country and family. And yet, she did manage to hold herself together to let the Russian president know one thing. In an interview with TMZ, she said: “F**k you, bitch! I love my country. Don’t touch Ukraine.”

Things have also not been helped by the circumstances of her family in the country. She expanded on how her father has been helping the war effort by making ammunition.

While it is not clear whether Maryna will also join the forces, just like other Ukrainian athletes have pledged to do so, one thing for sure is that she is fully behind those who are willing to put everything on the line.

She added: “It’s hard time for Ukraine. I want to support my country, my president, whole army in Ukraine, and I want to say we don’t want war. I worry about my family right now. My dad makes home grenades.”

By having a limited choice of what she can do, Maryna has declared her intention to put on a performance in the UFC that would make her country proud. In this way, she can shine a light on the positive things about the country at a time where people are bereft of hope.

Her following comments confirmed as much: “I will be fighting and I show that Ukraine people are strong, and my flag will be in the Octagon.” Maryna has shown an immense amount of courage by speaking out over what she believes in, and hopefully, she can make her country proud in the UFC.
